OKAY, SO GIVE US THE BASICS !
"ER, HELLO THERE. I AM Cynthia Elizabeth Hamilton BUT YOU CAN JUST CALL ME Liz. I HAVE BEEN WREAKING HAVOC FOR 16 YEARS AND I DON'T REALLY PLAN ON STOPPING SOON. I GRACED THIS WORLD WITH MY PRESENCE ON November 15th 1959. I BRANDISH A 8 and ½ inch, walnut, kelpie mane WAND, I KNOW YOU ARE JEALOUS. I AM IN THE HOUSE OF Gryffindor, 6th year, AND DAMN PROUD. I WAS BORN WITH Half-blood(Muggle born mother, Wizard Father), NOT THAT IT REALLY MATTERS. SO YEAH, ARE WE DONE?"
SORRY, NOT QUITE. SO WHAT ARE AND AREN'T YOU INTO ?
"Well I like music and I like art and I certainly like boys. I like everything that has to do with punk rock, the clothing, the music, the people . . . everything. I like to do it myself, whatever I can do, including sewing my own school robes. I like knowing that I am probably one of the most interesting people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. I hate, absolutely hate being cooped up in once place for too long. That's why I sneak out of Hogwarts every bloody chance I get. I hate people who spend all their days with their nose in a book, hoping that they can experience life through some piece of literature. Also, I hate people who are unaware of what's going on out there, get out and see what's going on!
HOW ER... INTERESTING. EVER LOOKED INTO THE MIRROR OF ERISED ?
"Look, I'm 16 years old. But if I think about it, I guess I want to travel and help people (or just travel with a punk band for the rest of my life as the fabulous lead singer)."
WHAT MAKES YOU SHAKE IN YOUR BOOTS ?
"I'm not afraid of much (but you might be afraid of me!). I guess I'm a afraid of something happening to my family, as different as we are I'm still pretty close with my mum. I'm also afraid of tiny spiders and being struck by lightening through a window."
EVEN YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME GOOD QUALITIES, RIGHT ?
"I'm smart, more smart than I let on. And I'd do anything for the people I care about and even some people that I don't even know. I'm fiercely loyal, which is probably why I ended up in Gryffindor. I'm also not afraid to be myself, which I think is pretty great. "
AND IT'S QUITE OBVIOUS YOU HAVE YOUR BAD, HUH ?
"Can we add this part to things I hate? I'd say I'm a little too stubborn; I don't let people in or really tell them how I feel. That's not always too bad of a thing, right? Also I shamelessly toot, belch and bite my fingernails. And I'm kind of cocky, I let people think that I think I'm cooler than I really think I am. That was a mouthful."
LET'S GET DIRTY. WHAT TURNS YOU ON ?
"Someone who knows what it's like in the world, who wants to stay up all night and experience the streets and the underground of London with me. Someone with confidence and a no BS attitude. But if you need more specifics I'd say blue eyes, dark hair, tight jeans and a bomber jacket win every time.
And what turns me off? Well that's easy, anyone afraid to live. Stiff upper class, silk tie, button down, and brown trouser wearing know it alls. "
DO YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY ?
"I suppose my Mum understands me a little bit, but my Pop has no clue. He doesn't understand why I'm not happy hanging out with my sister Suzie at the local coffee shop or going to see a film. Can you believe that? Suzie is a bit of a joke, she's got no ideas of her own. .the hardest decision she's ever had to make is what to wear in the morning. Even so, she's still my sister and I guess I love her, maybe."
WHERE YA FROM, BY THE WAY ?
"I grew up right in London, near St. James Park. It is a wizarding community that wasn't sure what to think when my Pop brought home my muggle mum. See his parents were pure-blood and felt a little funny about having a muggle born marrying their son. That's about it really. "
THE DEMENTORS ARE HERE. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ?
"I was 6 years old when my sister first attended Hogwarts. I took the trip to Diagon Alley with my parents and sister and along the way I must have gotten lost in the crowd. I ended up in a dark shop with people I didn't know all around me. I found a corner and just sat there until my parents finally found me. I have never been more terrified and since then I've made it my goal to be able to survive and find my way on my own."
BETTER GET UP A PATRONUS. WHAT ARE YOU REMEMBERING ?
"My first day of Hogwarts, seeing the castle for the very first time, not knowing what was in store for me. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this place."

Cynthia entered Hogwarts wearing very stiff, very new robes. They were punishment, after her dad caught her sneaking out of the house in a too tight, too revealing skirt, heavy eye make up and bright red lipstick. He wanted to make sure that at Hogwarts his daughter was dressed like “wizard and not a street walker.” Cynthia didn’t get it, it was all a part of the punk scene that she had started t o adopt as her own and it wasn’t harming anyone. Even though she didn’t want to wear the stiff new robes he had chosen for her, she wore them anyway (only because she had been promised a new sewing machine if she started acting like a proper lady). It didn’t matter much to her what anyone thought about her, she had always been individualistic to some extent. Although it seemed that she might be following the crowd with her new ‘punk’ attitude, Cynthia had felt a genuine interest in the ideals of punk. The music and the lifestyle were about a lot more than just being loud and obscene, most punk music was about self-expression and vying for social change. To Cynthia it was a less passive form of activism, something that even in her young age of 16 she understood.
She sighed as she made her way to the Gryffindor table, her friends would be shocked to see her in something not homemade. She kept her robe tight around her, if they were to see the simple Gryffindor uniform she wore underneath they’d be even more shocked. Cynthia told her self that attitude and confidence were more important than the clothes you wore, but she felt uncomfortable, itchy and out of place in her robes and uniform. Practically throwing herself into a chair, she turned to the friend she saw and struck up conversation.
“I really hope this year isn’t as dull as the last. I’ve been told that your sixth year is a lot more challenging, I’m really hoping that’s the case.”
Her stomach grumbled as she waited for the feast to begin, the sorting of the first years always took so long. Really she didn’t mind that it took so long, she could remember the wonder of seeing Hogwarts for the first time, the anxiousness as you waited for the sorting hat to be placed on your head. It was all very exciting, but it happened to be the last exciting thing Cynthia could remember happening to her at Hogwarts.
