I was just looking through my photobucket album at all of the various icons and signatures, some good and some bad, some still used today, some used once and then forgotten. It got me thinking. We've all been through quite a few roleplaying sites over time, some all together, some independently. And for every site comes some familiar faces and some new ones. So, the question is, who are your favorite RPG characters you've created over time and why? This is mostly talking about original characters, but if you portrayed a canon character particularly well or had a good time with them, you can mention them too. I created a lot of characters at HWH, but I really liked Hayden Madissene, as she was my first serious roleplaying character (my first ever RPG charries were terrible). She was the first of many shy characters, but it was her nearly paralyzing shyness that was was really fun to roleplay. Hayden was uniquely, socially inept, but also able to grow from her experience. Although I have pretty much retired her, she is still one of my favorites. Cassie LaRaine was a character born of my fun side, and was a joy to roleplay because I was actually being my crazy self, which I reserve until hanging out with good friends. It was nice to express myself, to be a little overdramatic and hyper. I also liked the McEathers, because the brother-sister dynamic is an interesting relationship to portray through separate entities. Plus Nats was all about quidditch, which made her automatically more fun, energetic, determined and confident, and she paved the way for short-lived Daley Brigham and Damon McNamara. On QAF, I liked using Emmy-Lee Phelps, my asian chickadee with a geetar, and Sarah Lundon, girl with a cracked open skull and no direction in life, because I was able to write more freely with their characters because they were so unstructured. I gave them basic personality outlines and just let my posts be what they were, sort of raw and like talking. Phineas Behkit was also really fun; making him have an accent and little trouble with speaking was a new thing to me. Also, his thought process was very simple - he knew what he wanted, what he wanted to say, and was very friendly and open. Marcoh Kinsley and Christian Hart are definitely at the top of my list, as they were both very dynamic characters - always growing and changing, become bolder and stepping out. Marcoh is the kind of awkward shy that just wants to jump some bones and Christian is becoming more rebellious, realizing that he wants more as a gay man. They were my first characters to have evolving storylines, which was so awesome. Maybe someday they will continue on...? Unfortunately, they made it nearly impossible for me to have a straight, male character, but hopefully I can overcome that. Graham Goodwin was born as Seth Kennedy on the QAF site when I was in the phase of making characters to make characters, but I eventually brought him to various sites as Graham, a more reserved and bright kid rather than the degenerate nobody I first created him to be. He's another shy one, but he is more observant and much less wrapped up in himself than Marcoh. He also is not very focused on his sexuality; rather, he barely recognizes it and just accepts it as who he is. He is much more focused on the content of the people he likes rather than their physical characteristics anyway. I used Graham on a couple other sites, but he did not mesh well with other genres of sites, as most leaned towards superficial and outgoing characters rather than introverted nerds. That's when I created Max Vandenburg, the sort of all-American type, before I realized he was still too nice, and I sort of put him aside, waiting for a good time to use him. I would like to reintroduce him at some point, and I will when the time comes. So yeah. It's fun to reminisce. I wonder what it would be like to have a board of our favorite characters... pretty crazy, I would imagine. Also there would be a million of them. Anyway, share your favorites, from our sites or not, so we can take a stroll down memory lane.

That is such a coincidence! I did the exact same thing when I was moving a bunch of files onto my external hard drive. I was sorting through them, figuring out which things were in what folders, and I found my old folder of character applications and icons and signatures, and took a mini-stroll down memory lane.
My first character ever was Erica Nightshade, so obviously I'm very attached to her. She has grown a lot over the years. For a while she would be the same age as me, so when I was 11 so was she, when I joined a new site and I was 12 or 13, she'd be 12 or 13. As I grew, she grew, and it was pretty much my escape from reality to become whoever I wanted to be. Before I met Angie and started an RPG with her in 7th or 8th grade I was on random sites with people I didn't know, and those were always fun. No one knew me in real life, so Erica Nightshade was who I WAS. It was an amazing experience.
There was one site, way back when. I was on a site and someone on it decided that the writing wasn't up to their standards, so they created another site. She wanted it to be close-knit, she wanted it to be the best of the best. And so she had auditions. I sent in a writing sample as Erica and she denied me. I was so upset I cried. Then I made another pseudonym. Serena Esterly. I created a whole new character, attitude, everything. I even tried to change my writing style. And she accepted Serena. Me! That site only ever had four members, soon it became three. Me, Jessie, and Erik. And the two of them were amazing writers, and they were four and six years older than me. While I was in Middle school one of them was starting university! And yet they both considered me worthy of posting with them. It was an amazing feeling, and I developed my writing there a lot. But then they got too busy, being in college then starting real life jobs and stuff, and it fell apart. Sometimes I check back to see if anyone has been there, but only once or twice in the past five years has that happened. I do miss it.
But sadly, my writing hasn't evolved much from there. I haven't really improved as a writer in the past few years, it's really kind of upsetting. But I'm definitely at the bottom of the writing totem poll now. It was just a nice confidence booster as a kid, and through middle school. If it wasn't for that I may never have continued with RPGs, or writing at all.
From more recent times? I don't know. I love Zeke and Noah from the QAF site. Maybe it's just that Dani gave me so much to work with, maybe it's the way the characters developed far more than I ever thought they would have, maybe it's because I just love them SO FRICKEN MUCH. hahaha, but really, I love the two of them. There were times when I was literally on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next with them. It was the most anxious I had ever been about a character. I still am, since we never really resolved much between them before the site died...

Um, I think it's pretty obvious who my favorite all time character is; Paul Conner Sabington. Paul started out as a notebook character with Angie, Becca, and Erica (I think. I think it was the four of us in Math Class? Yeah it was! Because when rent came out I got the special CD with the Roger cover and Erica had the Mark one and both rought them to class and pretended that they were friends!). Paul sort of sprouted from my love for the Beatles, I don't know if him being a musical fellow named Paul from Liverpool gave that away or not. His style was that of my ideal man and his personality was the random stream of thought in my head without barriers or cencors. Basically, I wanted a crazy, off the wall character with a completely random stream of thoughts. I think that I achieved that nicely. Then in Junior Year of high school I shared the same table with Beki for the PSSA testing and she asked if I wanted to join her site HWH and I distinctly remember saying; "Oh, well. . . I DON'T KNOW IF YOUR SITE CAN HANDLE PAUL SABINGTON!" and for a while it couldn't. I didn't know I had to be accepted before I could post and the post I made before getting accepted was about Paul barging into the Great Hall drunk and knocking over the head girl. I could not think of a better way to introduce Paul Sabington the to RPing world. I think Paul ended up with - 27 Karma on that site, a number that I an VERY proud of. Since then, Paul popped up on a few other sites as an older, more mature Paul. I had him being somewhat depressed from loosing his father on some sites, to being surprisingly optimist, but with the same situation. I've tried playing him on non-HP sites and I just don't fancy it. And Obviously, Paul's family tends to pop up where ever I create him. Another character that came to be on HWH was Gogo White, Paul's pessimistic, cynical best friend. I wanted her to be very beautiful on the outside, but extremely emotionally fucked up on the inside. I think with Gogo, I just wanted the opposite of Paul, someone who hadn't had a happy childhood and was bitter as Hell because of it. I am a pretty cynical being, but I like to think that I have a pretty good filter when it comes to translating it from thoughts to words. I wanted to remove that filter with Gogo and it a way, it was very therapeutic. Gogo does have a soft side, but tries very hard to hide it (which I guess is a bit like me) so she's not completely Evil so much as simply misunderstood. I had some SUPER juicy plots with Gogo, all involving men of course. There was Anthony on HWH which got really dramatic until the site died . Later, while playing an older Gogo, she starts shacking up with a DE on another site and that was just sexy and angsty, then the kid playing the DE just fell off the face of the earth. Then there's QAH, my favorites from that being Desmond and Ravi. I remember my original concept with Ravi was that I wanted a badass character, but that changed about halfway through my first thread with him when he met Kyan, hehehe. I think we all know the story from there. He became modeled a bit after Justin Taylor with his whole hopeless pining thing, but to an extreme. I just love his self-conscious irrationality, it's so fun to play! And I think very endearing in that way! Desmond was my other favorite from that site. He was Ravi's cousin, a almost the opposite of Ravi. Desmond was very confident and true to himself. I think Paul may have represent one side of me with the Beatle loving and the wackiness, and Desmond represents the other with his passion for Fashion and obsession with HP. And the whole thing with Josh and the AIDS and the suicide was a lot of good plot twists! All very horrible ordeals for someone to go through, but very compelling to RP. I think Desmond is my best attempt at a nice, easy going, normal character. Going back and reading old posts, I would like to apologize for my SHITTY grammar. Apparently, I used to, and possibly still do, have issues with ending contractions. Like, I'd want to say "wouldn't" and I would just put "would", which obviously would mean the opposite of the point I was trying to get across. I would also miss putting the 'ed" at the end of words and I used to bet 'g's and 'q's mixed up sometimes. I sincerely think that I'm mildly dyslexic and I think I need to get checked out for that. . Put RPing made me enjoy writing whether or not I'm good at it! I'm not concerned with being a spectacular writer or having the most dynamic characters, I just RP because it's fun and it's nice to take a break from ordinary life.

Looking back at all of my old characters really was amazing.
Christian Laurent, Slytherin 6th year and beau of the lovely Gael, and possibly Coby, too. He was my first Slytherin and my first male on HWH, and mannn did I have fun with him. Mostly I remember the thread named 'Yum, Air' that involved a lot of people - but most memorably, Gael Murphy. The banter those two characters exchanged and the wit that went into their conversation was so entertaining and it was like the two characters were meant to interact. That was one of the easiest plots I've ever thought up and then executed, although it wasn't executed fully. As far as I know. I love the intelligence Christian had, as well as all his subtleties and that underlying evilness that's expected of a Slytherin. He was only ever there, on HWH. Because it would be weird for me to have Christian anywhere that Gael Murphy isn't.
Gabriel Talent, another Slytherin, was introduced first in a Marauders-era roleplay, on a site that I joined out of nowhere and on which I met a good number of friends, but ones that none of you know. Gabriel was created solely for conflict. His purpose was to make another character named Brody's life a living hell. Basically what Gabriel did was brew a polyjuice potion and steal a hair from a girl named Ten, which he did seamlessly. Next Gabriel sent Brody to the hospital wing by basically pushing him down the stairs and breaking his ankle. And then what Gabriel did was drink the polyjuice potion, go to the hospital wing, and seduce the hell out of Brody, who had had an up and down sort of relationship with Ten for a long time. And the reason for Gabriel doing this? Mostly just for his own amusement, and also because he wanted to have something to hold over Brody's head. Gabriel's Slytherin side is a lot different than Christian's; Gabriel's is loud, obnoxious, while Christian's is reserved and clever. Someone so blatantly evil and obnoxious was fun to play. Gabriel spent a short time on AFYA basically just to get drunk and have sloppy makeouts with a Gryffindor. The scandalllll.
Josh Doherty was easily the most tragic character I ever played. The only place he's existed was the QAF site. When I created him, the only thing tragic about him was going to be his homelessness. But apparently that wasn't enough for me. I got Josh off the street - or, more accurately, Marisa's character Desmond did - and things seemed to be going well, but then another tragedy came into my head. I made it so that he had full-blown AIDS. The way it came up was that Josh and Desmond basically fell in love, and they wanted to make things more physical, but Josh couldn't do it without telling Desmond the truth. He did tell the truth, then got the medical help he needed courtesy of Desmond's parents. And thennnnn Desmond cheated on Josh, and attempted suicide, and Josh left foreverrrrr... except that eventually they got back together and were in love, but then I had to kill Josh off. So he died fro AIDS. It was all really sad and heartbreaking, but it was probably the most fun I've ever had with a plot. Which probably meant I'm a sadist. But whatever.
Reb Kennedy was originally going to be a character based off of me, but that's definitely not how she turned out. She was a Gryffindor, and basically one of the nicest people in the world. What's more, she was a very intuitive girl, and she had a certain way of reading people. She started out on the same site as Gabriel, the Marauders-era one, and had the most charming ever relationship with the lovely Remus Lupin. It seemed sort of like a fairy tale between the two, although it all ended when he decided they were getting too close, which meant she was getting too close to his furry little problem. It was sickeningly cute, some of the posts between them, and I loved every second of it. When Reb moved to AFYA she stayed almost exactly the same - blunt, observant, kind, accepting. She deveoped one of those so-not-canon forbidden relationships between Slytherin and Gryffindor with a boy named Roman, played by the amazing Oliver, who has since fell off the face of the Earth. I liked it because she tried very hard to get him to open up to her, which he eventually did, and everything was fine and dandy until he got a little handsy and she was like OH GOD WHAT DO I DO I'M NOT GOOD AT PHYSICAL THINGS I'M GOING TO DO EVERYTHING WRONG. Silly girl.
Remy Moran was my first ever Harry Potter roleplay character, and she has followed me to almost every RP site I've been a part of, save the Marauder-era ones. For those Harry Potter sites, I made her the typical Slytherin girl - vain, arrogant, an elitist, mean-spirited, stiff, Death Eater parents that were distant and unloving. She was mechanical in a way, sort of a robot that her parents programmed. I think the only reason she's so special to me is because she was the first, and she's sort of a part of me. That's how much I've used her and how much I know her and how in-depth her character really is. It's almost like she's a real person, or a real character in the Harry Potter books. And even when it's not in a Harry Potter RP - like when she was that lovely and total-opposite-of-her-Slytherin-self lesbian on the QAF site - it's like she's an actual person that I know. Sort of like a best friend. Or that imaginary friend that you have as a kid, who you would swear is real. It's a creepy bond with my own character, I know this, but it's awesome, in my opinion.

This sounded amazingly fun . .so here it goes.
I put a little bit of me (or a lot of me) into almost every character I've ever created.
Angie Catalano was my first character and so she has to be special. I intended her to be the 13 year old me, which wasn't hard since I was like 12 or 13 when I started posting with Erica on the first RP site I was ever on. I have an awful tendency to lean toward the dramatic, which means that my characters become more and more ridiculous and completely unrealistic as time goes by. I think it's because I used to watch Soap Operas every day over the summer with my grandmother. Angie started out simple, just an angsty pre-teen who wanted to be more mature than she was, and then she turned into this weird good girl stuck in a bad situation thing . .and it just blew up from there.
I've created a poop-ton of characters over the years and honestly, I can't really remember them all, but I have a few more that sort of stick with me.
Aurora Sorell on HWH. She was supposed to be the sweeter, sillier, more-light hearted version of myself. I'm not an overly clever poster, especially when it comes to conversation, but my goal was to make her as adorable as possible. I'm pretty sure it came off that way. Some of my posts as Rory with Paul were so sweet and innocent that I absolutely loved them. The more I posted with her the more I began to believe that she basically existed to be the perfect girlfriend for Paul.
HWH - I enjoy playing male characters because they're so much of a challenge for me, especially when trying to write something that a guy might say. Anthony Pirelli was originally based off of a friend of mine, that some of you may or may not know. He was intended to be shy, sweet, musically talented and slightly shut off from the world. That's the last time I try and base a character off someone I know. I have a love/hate relationship with him because I just could never get it right. I flipped flopped with his personality non-stop, because I wanted so badly to convey this idea that he was so much deeper than the shallow character I had created. The more I tried to make him seem like a friend of mine, the more I gave him flaws that I see in myself. He could never speak up until it was too late, he was prone to lose control under pressure and do things without considering the consequences. Yet again he ended up just being a piece of me.
Also, all of my characters interests seem to involve music, sewing, fashion . .and media type things. Which are all interests and areas that I wish I were better at, so I make my characters good at them! HAHA!
I do have to apologize because I often end up just making posts die. I say something that no one can really respond to, or something that's not quite worth responding to. I'm not really an amazing fiction writer, but I like rping because it gives me a chance to work on it . .and because it's super fun to be someone else, at least for a little while.

Oh man, I wonder if I can fit all of my favs into one little post. Well let's see, perhaps I can just break them off into rpgs themes.
As for Harry Potter, my all time favorite character is definitely Gael Murphy. He's my Slytherin twat with a heart of gold. To think he started out as a rip off of Brian Kinney from qaf with his daddy issues and recent breakup with a certain blond Gryffindor. He was so much fun to play. He was sarcastic, but sympathetic; willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but only once. He could say the things other people only thought bitterly. His romance with Christian was adorable, and just seemed to fall into place. Of course, he couldn't have things easy, so I readily agreed to the Coby idea. Not to mention throwing Killian into the mix every once in a while. His lack of patience for the incompentence was always fun to write for as well. I really like Marc Frampton too. He started out as a rip off of Mr. Cohen, but turned into a fun little guy. His relationship with Aunelia was fun too: he didn't seem like the type to fall for a Slytherin girl a year ahead of him. I can't forget Jesse Holmes, my first ever rp character. Of course he was Jesse Bowen then, older brother to Gwen Bowen, but he evolved into the DADA professor he was on HWH. He was just fun to play around with. I like playing evil characters often: Lucious Malfoy, Brian Murphy, Wren Collins, and Damien Pierce were also some favorites. I lump them as one because they often did things together. Of course, I also thoroughly enjoyed playing two canons: Oliver Wood and Luna Lovegood. Oliver was fun with his lack of understanding of the female mind He found it easier to think of things in terms of quidditch. He almost had a love interest, but he was taking his good ol' time getting there. Luna Lovegood is just so bizarre. I imagine it's like playing River Tam. She was fun to have to look things up for: for example bumblegum martinis and blithering humdingers and the proper way to cook plimpies.
QAF -- ok so I love basically all my characters on here. Kyan was such a tool and I love him for it. With his trying to be all cool and indifferent, but still letting himself get heartbroken by Toby. I think I just like playing characters who speak their minds on a regular basis. Also Tadgh. He was my quirky guy. I liked him because he was essentially me --sans the constant ass kickings and cheer leader girlfriend. He liked to dress all cool and stuff, but really he was just there to be the comic relief. Garrett. . . I love him because he needs a hug? I like torturing my characters apparently because I gave him the monstrosity of fathers, He and Gael should start a club. Finally Andy. He was a last minute addition after watching Speedway Junkie, but I <3 him. He's like a puppy. . .a puppy who gets paid to have sex.
I got to play Captain Hook and Nibs on Neverland site. Both are canons, but as I mentioned before I like playing villains. . . apparently Jason Isaacs ones. . . but Nibs I loved. He was naive in a fun way. He befriended an Indian girl despite the ban against interacting, and always hoped Peter would come back. He didn't like having to grow up --he couldn't fit in his bed anymore--, but ironically didn't get much bigger than 5 feet.
Disney -- Jimbo. That is all. Well mostly. I've played Jim Hawkins twice before and he is so delightfully angsty, I can't help but <3 playing him. And Pips from Ferngully; he was lots of fun.
Firefly -- can I just say how much I love Wash. Sadly, I dropped off the site, but playing him was awesome, although a lot like playing Luna Lovegood. I had to think up songs for him to quote, ridiculous sayings in chinese for him to spout, awkward moments for him and Mal.
Sailor Moon -- So yeah, I'm a huge nerd and rp sailor moon. I have this tendency of playing the same four characters: Mamoru Chiba, Motoki Furuhata, Makoto Kino, and Zoisite. Evil King Endymion is one of my favorite's, but I love Zoisite. He's pouty and adorable and buys gifts for Kunzite and no so subtly mocks his 'friends' to their faces.
Gah nearly forgot x-men. I think it goes without saying that Gambit was my favorite character to play on there. Closely followed by Wolverine and Pyro. . . and Havok (even Rogue, but let's not go into that) I think Shelby and Deanna were the only ones there for the last two. Gambit was a ladies man and Wolverine was just badass. ( I think Freud would have a field day with my affinity for playing cocky, smooth taking rebels with hearts of gold). Pyro was evil. . .and no one ever wants to take bad guys, but I always have fun playing him.
Sorry I rambled so much in the Harry Potter section. Wow I do not have a lot of girl characters listed here. I think if I made a list. . .it would be pretty uneven. I like to help sites out though, you know keep the guy count high (no one ever wants to make boys). Well that's depressing, considering everyone always makes pretty boys.

Wow…. This is weird….
My first RP character was a very long time ago on a HP site called MidnightStar that gave me just one friend and a lot of enemies. She was short, hyperactive and playful… a template that I’ve used constantly over the four years I’ve been Rping. From there I went to HPRPG (everyone’s been on one, but this one was run by a girl called Adrian). It was there I met my best friend to this day, where she played the Tonks to my Remus, and we both played two corners of a messy love triangle (that lasted 3 sites and a handful of name changes).
After that I started making my own sites, both original and HP. I developed a few character types that I’ve always stuck to, including the one I already mentioned, and the two that Bekstar noted above - yep, I played that Brody dude (who Beki and Luth played his brothers), and my best friend played that Ten girl, and I played Remus to Beki’s Reb. WEEEE!!!!! Confused yet?
Anyway, there aren’t many of my characters that I really cling to very tightly. If I had to pick one it would be, hands down and no hesitation, Brody. He really is a part of me even now, a year after I stopped playing him. He’s my darker side, the devil on my shoulder (I’ve yet to find an angel…). I would ADORE playing him here, but you can’t have Brody without Ten, and the girl that played Ten stopped Rping for good before I did, sadly. I do have to admit that their friendships with Gabe were probably the ones that stuck in my mind the most. That was seriously awesome fun; having my beloved, woman-loving character all gay’d up and hunted by Gabriel. Eheheheheheh. <3
Romy is a new formula for me. I can’t remember playing a Ravenclaw that I actually liked before, and I really do like her. She might be a new favourite…. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Okay, I'm just sitting here awestruck that you people can blather on about your characters for so long. It's... amazing. I highly doubt I'll be able to follow suit, but who knows. Sometimes I can't shut up.
My favourite character would be undoubtedly this fellow right here, Luthan. He's one of my oldest HP characters, and the type of evil bastard that I enjoy playing the most. I guess you'll be seeing him later on, but he's a stereotypical Slytherin to the core: conniving, deceitful, arrogant, pure-blood maniac and condescending. He's been in a number of settings, starting off with HP where he was a werewolf, and I must say, writing threads involving him gruesomely mauling people was one of the most enjoyable things I've ever written.
Why are you looking at me like that? I'm normal. Absolutely.
I guess, apart from Luthan, there's also Ashby, an annoying little first year brat who was oblivious to any sort of criticism, and able to talk his way out of just about anything. He was awesome. And then of course, there's the aforementioned brother of Brody the Bitch. Kynan was basically a slightly grown up version of Ashby, possibly even more immature, and in that stage of puberty where his hormones raged and he wasn't satisfied with being single for any longer than a week. He had some interesting interactions with his brothers, and the rest of their OMGWTFBBQly huge family.
Um.... lessee... two other characters I've been quite fond of, which is surprising considering I've never actually managed to put them together in an RP properly, are a pair of twins, Shinjirou and Takahiro. They're rather different, one being the more quiet, reserved, thinker type while the other was more extroverted, and considerably less mature. Annoyingly, I've never been able to put them side by side in an RPG, although I have played them separately on different boards before, all of which had died by the time I was ready to introduce the other twin. Chances are it won't happen here either, since the era doesn't fit too well with Shinji's appearance.
And that about wraps it up for my characters, I guess...

Wow....
Um anyway, let's see... My oldest and most favorite rp character would have to be Raven. She origionated on a bored afternoon with one of my friends, and slowly made her way onto paper, but has mostly stayed as an rp character in real life. I know it's kinda wierd, but actually playing some things out is kinda fun. Raven has undergone massive character changes over the years, and actually turned into someone who has a diffrent personality than I do, which didn't happen right at first.
Next would have to be Naji. He's on a rather dead rp site, but he's my first real guy character who actually sounds more like a guy. I'm a girl, so that was rather hard for me. He's very conflicted, especially being half demon and half angel.
I wasn't that into HP untill I ran accross a site called Tallygarunga Academy. That's where I have the character that I am the most proud of. His name is Husam and he is rather well developed, and rather interesting as a person.
I don' know, I'm not very good at telling about my characters, mostly because most of them don't have places on online rps. It would take a very long time to tell you guys the entire story behind my kids.

Well this is certainly different...
Um.. let's see. I started out on this site I found through a game, and though it took me quite a few female characters to get to one I liked, turns out, I'm better at roleplaying males and also altered my own middle name to suit, seeing as most sites I've been on kinda get freaked out if a girl plays a male character (which hasn't happened here, so I apologise to everyone now... ^^; ).
My first character that I really really loved however was Kay. He was a demon/angel with a very short temper but a kind of soft-heartedness, he watched over people before falling. He was sired in a brutal way, making him a demon/angel/vampire, but yeah... he only ever sired one other on that site and turns out, one of my friends was roleplaying him too XD. But he was fun, mainly coz I had a lot of freedom with him.
After him was Saber Lionheart, god I love him. He's so cool, I play him on D&C at the moment, so I didn't have to change much from his original story. He was kept in a lab since he was 9 years old and broke out when he was 17, only to nearly die during the escape, be found by an extremely sadistic vampire who then turned him and looked after him. He's slightly autistic, so doesn't talk to people a lot, is very intelligent and hates looking people in the eye, and despite his cold exterior, he's actually quite a sweetheart. He's one of my favourite characters and one of my oldest. I started him when he was 17, I was... wow... 15. Because I'm 18 now, and he's 20. I've rp'ed him on and off for those three years, a period in which he 'died' then came back.. but the first site I had him on also died and kinda crawled away, so that was no fun.
Non-vampy characters? I played Jay and Vio, two brothers one who's a mechanic, one who ya just never see. Both homosexual, and both totally crushing on another guy but is too scared to admit it. Vio was brash and very cold, almost to the point of that you couldn't tell that he was a nice person. Jay very sweet, timid and happy. Totally opposite twins no?
Um... aw... Ethan was another very cute character I loved. Ethan Heart, he was on this site that's now become DNC, and he was in this hospital turned experimentation lab. He had the DNA of a human, Nocturne (own species, whoo), Australian Raven and Butterfly. Totally useless as a weapon, but perfect for attention to detail and being a very gentle, warm kind of person.
And now there's Dante. Dante's cool I like him, purely because I played a Slytherin on another HP rp site, and that didn't work out so good. So now I thought "hm... I'll play a Ravenclaw, but not too stereotyped" and thus, here's Dante. I found I like playing characters who put on a front to protect themselves because of past events or whatever, and though it'll take me a bit to get used to him I know I'm gonna have heaps of fun playing him ^^.
