A Hogwarts Infatuation

Dangerous times call for drastic measures. Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore has the school tightly locked from Lord Voldemort and his Deatheaters so that no harm comes to the students within its walls. Many within these walls are relying, and hoping, that the Chosen One will save them from the dangers lurking outside the gates of Hogwarts. With such a sudden burst of popularity and fame once more, Harry Potter is feeling the stress to do what he is destined to do and what fate will do to be an obstacle. With his godfather dead and the start of another war, Harry focuses on his own schoolwork and his friendships to take his mind away from the swirling chaos around him. But with his sudden rise back to the spotlight after being shunned last year, he has suddenly become an interest among the female population. Unfortunately, Harry's only experience in the dating department was Cho Chang, which obviously didn't end, or start, well last year.

Suddenly, many of the girls at Hogwarts are relying on love potions to gain the attention of Harry. Thankfully, Hermione has already warned Harry to be careful of gifts given to him. This warning, unfortunately, wasn't given to the rest of the Hogwarts population as some other students have fallen victim to the love potion craze. Love potions meant for Harry have accidentally been given, or taken in some instances, to other students. Draco Malfoy, Dean Thomas, and Zacharias Smith are a few of the well-known students plagued by the love potions floating around. Every student fallen victim to these love potions has been detrimental to the reputation they uphold. But still, no one understands the factor of what is flying through Hogwarts. This love potion is taking students by storm, causing love at first sight to be a reality to those that induce this potion. Teachers are beginning to raise concern that the students are acting odd, and even a few are whispering that the Dark Lord may have a spy within Hogwarts.

If only they knew the truth of that accusation, then maybe the headmaster would look more into. Fortunately, the spy, or the man on the inside, is too busy with his own hormones to fully pay attention to the mission given to him by the Dark Lord. Yes, Draco Malfoy has become a Deatheater, but his mission to kill Dumbledore and gain his fellow Deatheaters entrance into Hogwarts has been put on hold. He has, of course, fallen victim to the love potion, and his mysterious love happens to be his well-known enemy, Hermione Granger. Well-known among students though is that Hermione is madly in love with her best mate, Ronald Weasley, who is in fact currently dating Lavender Brown in order to get back at Hermione for snogging Viktor Krum during their fourth year and prove to Ginny that he's just not some immature git. With Hermione up in raging jealousy and Draco suddenly showing a little interest in her, Hermione sticks close to Harry, who's in love with Ginny but doesn't wish to ruin his friendship with Ron. With all these different love affairs, these hormonal teenagers may be in for a wild ride.

Harry Potter, with his sixth year beginning, is now worried about Dark Lord and his own love life. Can Harry prove to be the real Chosen One? Or will his own hormones get in the way of what his destiny is? Welcome to A Hogwarts Infatuation!
