OKAY, SO GIVE US THE BASICS !
"ER, HELLO THERE. I AM JAMES CHARLUS POTTER BUT YOU CAN JUST CALL ME PRONGS. I HAVE BEEN WREAKING HAVOC FOR 15 YEARS AND I DON'T REALLY PLAN ON STOPPING SOON. I GRACED THIS WORLD WITH MY PRESENCE ON 27 March 1960 . I BRANDISH A MAHOGANY, 11 INCHES, PHOENIX FEATHER WAND, I KNOW YOU ARE JEALOUS. I AM IN THE HOUSE OF GRYFFINDOR, 5TH YEAR, AND DAMN PROUD. I WAS BORN WITH PURE BLOOD, NOT THAT IT REALLY MATTERS. SO YEAH, ARE WE DONE?"
SORRY, NOT QUITE. SO WHAT ARE AND AREN'T YOU INTO ?
"Well let's see I like, nay dare I say love quidditch. I like my friends, I suppose. Teasing people is something I'll likely never grow out of. I'll be 80 and still telling people to pull my finger. I also throoughly enjoy a good round of mischief making. I aim to misbehave. There's just something about the thrill of outrunnnig Filch. I hate the whole pureblood issue: I mean really? My blood makes me better than someone else? No, my quidditch skills and fantastic hair make me better than someone else. Let's see have I forgotten anything? Ah yes, Snivellus Snape. Seriously, I've seen grindylows with better looking mugs than his."
HOW ER... INTERESTING. EVER LOOKED INTO THE MIRROR OF ERISED ?
"Becoming a professional quidditch player doesn't sound so bad. I mean after schools over I plan to take a year or two off, just to enjoy not having to study or run around for once. I figure it'll take a bit of time to get out on my own and find a place to live. In the more immediate future. . .I will convince Lily Evans to go out with me. She just doesn't know it yet.
WHAT MAKES YOU SHAKE IN YOUR BOOTS ?
"Fears? Ha I laugh in the face of danger! I guess I fear for my friends. I worry about them from time to time. I fear that someone besides us might find out about Moony's furry little problem and out him. Hinkypunks. I have a tendency to get lost. . .and I just know one of these days I'm going to see a light and start following it and then. . .then they'll get me. I'm not daft, my mum told me betime stories about them. I know all about their little agenda.
EVEN YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME GOOD QUALITIES, RIGHT ?
"I'm brilliant at quidditch for starters. I'm brilliant in general I suppose; it's a gift really. I was always pretty good when it came to trying new kinds of spells. . .like the one to plant our biting wit in the marauder's map. Oh and I can't forget Tranfiguration, Professor McGonagal says I'm one of the best, 'course she also says to stop writing notes in her class or she'll tranfigure me into a pretty pink tea cozy."
AND IT'S QUITE OBVIOUS YOU HAVE YOUR BAD, HUH ?
"Are we counting Honeydukes as a weakness? I suppose I do have a sort of superiority complex. I like to be admired, but who wouldn't right? It could be said that I border on arrogant. It could also be said that I have a weakness for fiesty ginger girls."
LET'S GET DIRTY. WHAT TURNS YOU ON ?
"A pretty face turns me on, but that in itself is a bit shallow of me. Intelligence is a turn on, I don't want some half brained giggling idiot following me around. . .ok so maybe I do, but not as my girlfriend. She should be strong and confident and able to tell me off if need be. Right on with the turn offs: whiny, needy, clingy. I can't even begin to say how much these annoy me. There's no need to be clingy: there ain't no ring on this finger. No dog faces either. "
DO YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY ?
"Ah the beauty of being an only child, though with how often Sirius crashes at my place, it's almost like having a brother. My mum and dad-- Gareth and Lyra-- and were older, about 70, when they had me. I wasn't exactly expected, but they were exstatic. They may have spoiled me a bit, but I love them. "
WHERE YA FROM, BY THE WAY ?
"Well my mum and dad loved the atmosphere in Godric's Hollow on holiday once, so they decided to move there. A good 20 years later I was born. I grew up in southwestern England in the greatest wizarding community: Godric's Hollow. There's not much too the place, though it is mostly comprised of wizards, so we don't have to hide much. There's a pretty cor pub and a church down the way from our cottage.
THE DEMENTORS ARE HERE. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ?
"When I was five years old, I nearly drowned. I'd snuck out to play at a creek pretty far away from my home. All the other kids were going, so I did too. Of course, I was the superb swimmer I am today back then. . .I was five: flailing my arms like an idiot was more my strategy. No one listened to me when I said I couldn't stay up. So I went under instead. I stayed under the water for a full minute and a half before someone jumped in and got me. I honestly thought no one was going to come save me."
BETTER GET UP A PATRONUS. WHAT ARE YOU REMEMBERING ?
"My first year at school here by far: meeting Padfoot and Moony. My first day even: I met both of them then, although I wonder if I hadn't heckled Moony a bit.

Zoisite had not noticed where the other man's eyes had wandered to, he was too busy looking at the anti-snow globe to immediately notice Kunzite's appearance in the ballroom. He did notice someone approaching his table, though. He looked up, trying and failing to fight the grin spreading across his face. Though he still preferred Kunzite's true form to his disguise, he had to admit, Shin looked good in the suit. It was less formal than his own attire, but of the four of them he felt that he had the most fashion sense of all and in situations like this he wanted to shine.
He was almost too distracted by the sudden and yet anticipated arrival of Kunzite to remember what he held in his hand. He quickly slid the hand enclosed around the snow globe under the table, praying he hadn't seen it. As he heard his alias spoken to him, he glanced up, meeting the brown eyes looking back at him. He could hear something akin to curiosity in his voice as the name was spoken. "Ku--Shin," he replied sheepishly, mentally scolding himself for nearly saying the other man's name. True no one was around them, but they could never be too careful. He was just not used to have to use false names all the time, and wanted to simply call each other by their proper names.
"You're fashionably late, I see," he said, his tone light while his fingers moved nervously over the object in his hand. He should just do it: give it to him now and be done with it. Why was something as simple as this so difficult for him? He took a deep breath and stood up, his arms behind his back as he looked at the dark haired man before him. "I got you something," he said evenly, keeping his eyes on Kunzite's chest instead of his eyes. He held out his hands, the snow globe, resting on his left palm and holding it in place gently with his right hand. He didn't know why his mind was making this out to be such a big deal: it was just a present exchanged between two friends. Yet he knew on some level that he would be devastated if Kunzite did not like the gift, or if he thought that, he, Zoisite, was being weird in giving it to him. He had seen the way he'd looked at the little object though, he didn't think he'd dislike it.
"I thought you might like it," he said at length. "I'm sure there's a place even in the darkness for it." He stood there, his arms still outstretched, waiting for a sign of either approval or rejection. If he made things uncomfortable after this, he thought glancing over at the doors, he could probably make a run for it easily enough.
